April Bowlby, an American model and actress from the United States. She's played Kandi in The CBS comedy Two and a Half Men, Stacy Barrett in Drop Dead Diva as well as Rita Farr in Titans and Doom Patrol. April Michelle Bowlby was born in New York City. The actress is most famous for her role as Stacy Barrett and Kandi on Two and a Half Men and Drop Dead Diva, a show that is a comedy, legal and fantasy. Her first job was modeling followed by films and television series. Her first appearance on small screen was as an extra on the TV series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation then single-episode roles in various other shows. On Two and a Half Men she was cast as Kandi. Bowlby gained international recognition with her Stacy Barrett role in Drop Dead Diva. Bowlby played the role as Rita Farr/Elastigirl for the American web show Titans. A spin-off from the show Doom Patrol will see her playing the role. Bowlby has also appeared in TV films, including Sands of Oblivion and The Wrong Daughter. She debuted on the big screen in All Roads Lead Home, later appearing as a character in The Slammin Salmon as well as From Prada to Nada. Prior to deciding on a career in acting, she studied French as well as ballet at Moorpark College. She took drama classes alongside Ivana Chubbuck and secured the role of a leading television show (Kandi from Two and a Half Men) within months of her first Hollywood audition. Bowlby appeared in many TV programs, such as CSI in 2004. CSI: NY in 2005, Freddie on the 2005 season as Sydney as Sydney, and How I Met Your Mother in 2007 as Meg. Bowlby appeared as Natasha Recently, she was as Natasha in All Roads Lead Home, the 2007 film about a girl aged 12 who has lost her mother due to an accident in the car. Bowlby will be in the upcoming 2008 comedy film The Slammin Salmon as Mia. She lives in Los Angeles. The blonde has natural red hair and blue eyes. She is not married, and has no children.
