Pickler was born Kellie dawn Pickler the 28th of June, 1986. She had a turbulent childhood. She was just two years old when her mother left her abusive marriage. Pickler was reunited with her mother in 1995, when she became the custody holder. But it didn't go as planned. Pickler aged 12 was sent back to her parents by judge. They took care of her till she became an adult. Pickler was, in the absence of her parents and her older siblings, became too busy to study. She admitted she no longer had time for studying and began learning how to become a housekeeper as a child. Pickler was a member of the cheerleading squads at both her high school and middle school. She graduated in 2004 North Stanly High School. Pickler is also a beauty contestant. In the past, she was named Miss Stanly County.
