Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise has been a performer, writer, and actress in the US for the past 40 years. She is most famous for her role as Ginger Grant (in the 60s TV series Gilligan's Island). The actress began her career in stage shows during the 1950s, beginning by performing in Two's Company a musical by Bettle Davis. After that, she acted on Broadway for a number of performances until 1957 when Li'l Abner made it famous at the National Theatre. In 1957, she made her debut album named It's time to Tina. Louise debuted as a performer in Hollywood with God's Little Acre a drama which was made in 1958. She played Griselda the main character of the movie. In New York, Louise enrolled at Actors Studio and began her relationship to Lee Strasberg. The next memorable role she played was in 1964. She signed with CBS to play Ginger Grant. Louise worked successfully in both Hollywood as well as Broadway as a somber character in order to dispel her image as a glamorous doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The series also featured her as Helen Magnus in Sanctuary although in the last few years she has also made an impact as a director who has been successful in numerous well-known TV shows including Supernatural as well as The 100. Her birthplace was in Essex on August 28, 1965. Her family relocated to Toronto when she was three where she subsequently spent her childhood and adolescence. Samantha Carter was chosen in 1997 for the role, and she has settled down in Toronto ever since.
