Ina-Garten
Ina Garten is an American writer of cookery cookbooks and Emmy Award-winning host of the Food Network's most popular program, Barefoot Contessa which debuted in 2002 and will run for 27 seasons until 2020. Ina began her career in creating nuclear energy policies as well as budgets to the White House. She initially loved the intellectual stimulation of her job, but soon lost interest. She instead bought Barefoot Contessa, a specialty restaurant. It took her 18 years to make her store very successful, before selling it off before putting pen to paper to write her first cookbook. A number of different cookbooks and magazines came later. At the same time, the Food Network television show too was launched and quickly became an instant hit. Her products range from cookware and kitchen appliances as well as storage containers. Ina is not a student at any cookery school or worked in a restaurant and has a complete self-taught. Ina is known for her relaxed way of cooking and entertaining. Some of her best known recipes include Skillet-Roasted, Lemon Chicken Beatty's Chocolate Cake Mac and Cheese Beef Bourguignon Balsamic-Roasted Brussels Sprouts and Lemon Bars.
