Adelaide Clemens

Brisbane Australia was the birthplace and the place where my parents were raised. The daughter of an British father. Clemens was working as an actor on Australian television while in high school. She guest starred in a show called Blue Water High, as Juliet as Juliet, on the show in 2006. The following year, she appeared as Alison as Alison in Pirate Islands: The Lost Treasure of Fiji. Clemens was the lead character Harper during the year, in the Showtime's Love My Way drama was nominated by the Logie Awards as the Graham Kennedy Award winner for Most Outstanding New Talent. Clemens appeared in the 2008 MTV Networks Australia dramatic film Dream Life alongside Sigrid Thornton Xavier Samuel Linda Cropper and Andrew McFarlane.She played small roles on the TV series All Saints and the film X-Men Origins: Wolverine in 2009. In 2009, she became the face for Jan Logan's jewellery. Clemens moved to Los Angeles California. Clemens starred in the 2010 movie Wasted on the Young as Xandrie. Clemens appeared in Camilla Dickinson alongside Gregg Sulkin and Cary Elwes. Samantha Mathis also appeared. The film was a dramatic adaptation of Madeleine L'Engle's 1951 novel which had the same title. Clemens was Heather Mason as a teenager and was on Silent Hill: Revelation 3D. The horror film was inspired by the survival horror video game Silent Hill 3 and was a sequel to Silent Hill.That year Clemens was also in a leading part as a young suffragette Valentine Wannop in Parade's End the TV mini-series version to Silent Hill, a Ford Madox Ford tetra-logy co-produced by HBO and BBC Two. Clemens had her first film role in the 2012 horror film The No One Lives with Luke Evans. The actress also starred in The Great Gatsby (2013), a film based off F. Scott Fitzgerald's novel with the same title. Catherine was the younger cousin to Myrtle Wilson, played by Isla Fischer. Clemens plays Tawney in Rectify which was a film from 2013 Sundance Channel miniseries written with Ray McKinnon. She will also star with Natalie Dormer Stephen Graham and Zachary Quinto in the independent drama The Girl Who Invented Kissing.
