Ali MacGraw, also known as Elizabeth Alice MacGraw, is an American author and designer who has won numerous awards for her works. She has been a vocal advocate for human rights for animals. Ali MacGraw is known for movies such as Love Story, Goodbye Columbus and The Getaway. New York was her home and she was raised in an environment that was artistic. Beginning she was employed as an photographer's assistant. Later on, her career shifted into directing and modeling. She received an award called the Golden Globe Award, for most promising newcomer. MacGraw was a worldwide star after her 1970 movie Love Story, which earned an Academy Award nomination as well as a Golden Globe. After just three short films, MacGraw was declared the most successful female in box office history. In 1972 her hand-footprints as well as her signature were inscribed at Grauman's Chinese Theater. The other films she has appeared on comprise The Getaway Convoy Players, TV miniseries The Winds of War and other. Her autobiography, published in 1991 Moving Pictures came out. MacGraw was married three times.
